Today we turned in the Art Day Packet and took the TOK Final Exam.
If you were absent, you should have received an e-mail from me about making up the Final Exam. Please respond to the e-mail ASAP or e-mail me ASAP if you did not get an e-mail. Periods 1 & 2 - Next week we will watch The Matrix to see some questioning and thinking in action! Important Upcoming *Best wishes on a life filled with meaning and purpose! Today we viewed the Public Art pieces and started working on the Art Day Observations and Evaluations handout (linked below). Your piece must be totally cleared up by the time I leave school today at 4:45 pm. Remember Packet and Reflections are INDIVIDUAL and not group. Additionally, the final reflection should be 2+ typed single spaced, Times New Roman, 12 pt. font pages. If you were absent from class today, ask friends from 5 different pieces to send you their evidence so you can see and reflect on 5 different installations.

Everyone then turned in the work along with yesterday’s class work.
If you were in class today and would like a little bit of extra credit (no more than a handful a points in the Process Category), do this activity and give it to me by Friday of next week (June 7th). If absent, hopefully you already picked up the make-up work handout in the classroom yesterday. But just in case, here it is again. Students completed the following handout, but were asked to hang on to it and turn it in with the Visiting Art activity we will do tomorrow. If absent, complete the handout on your own and then interview a non-TOK person who is the same age or older than yourself about the questions. Record their answers as well as your own. Include the name and contact information of the person you interviewed so that I can verify.

There was no specified reading or discussion on the 2019 Ethics Plan – we will get back to it tomorrow. Instead we watched the first two episodes of Season One of The Good Place, Michael Schur, NBC. Please watch these two episodes on your own if you were absent today. It can be found on Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, KCLS (free) or make an appointment with me to watch it after school (free).
