Today we finished what we will learn about Medieval Europe (except for a little bit more about the church next week). We discuss the 100 Years War and what role it played in ending some feudal structures. If you were absent, get the notes from a helpful classmate or make an appointment with me to get the missed information. I checked the textbook reading that was due today, so if you were absent please show them to me when you return to class. Additionally, turn in your Feudalism Visual to the inbox with a note about being absent at the top. Upcoming Due Dates: 9/20: 334-337 (stop after "Slavery in the Renaissance") & 340-342 (stop at "Warfare in Italy") 9/21: Humanism Article (will assign in class a few days prior) 1, 2, 3, 4 9/24: CR Machiavelli Excerpt 9/26: Mid-Unit Quiz And for our Intro Renaissance lecture tomorrow - here - is a PowerPoint of the art slides we will discuss. Feel free to print out or have running on a laptop/phone/tablet Wednesday & Thursday. It is not required, but students find it helpful to be able to see the pictures in greater detail than the classroom projector allows.
